Lorna McCormack has been Chair of the School of Media, Art & Design since August 2008.

After graduating from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications Studies she began a career in journalism that spanned over 25 years. She has worked as a reporter/news announcer at radio stations in Northern Ontario, Vancouver Island and Windsor, Ontario. In 1998 Lorna made the move from radio into television where she was the Assignment Editor/Morning News Anchor/Fill in Station Manager at the New WI. She began teaching part-time at St. Clair College in Fall 2005.
